So far in this class I have learned about power searching with Google. There are many features on Google that I didn't know about before I took this class. Using these tools will help a lot with your research because he can narrow your results down to find specific information. It's important that people learn these features so they can get the most out of Google. The first lesson was an introduction on how to use the essential features of Google. You learn how to filter images by color, word choice, word order, and finding text on a page. On the second class you learn how to interpret your results. Some tips to this subject were suggesting something new, focusing on thinking more deeply about your search, understanding the different varieties of media you can use, how to interpret the results page, and using the left column to filter you results in different categories. The most recent class which is class 3 you learn advanced techniques. In this class you learn the various file types, using the minus sign to get rid of words, using Or and quotes, and using intext to find results. This course will provide you with valuable information to use to help aid your research.
